Friday Hut Road

BINNA BURRA, NSW, 2021

The client requested a Property Plan for his 40 hectare cattle property that provided him with a strategy that allowed him to set long term goals. Management objectives included:

  • undertake landscape/hydroline remediation works that facilitated the implementation of NSF slope and stream management principals
  • fence hydrolines and springs from cattle
  • locate proposed new residence
  • review existing fences
  • incorporate cattle rotation practices into new fencing design
  • rejuvenate existing wetlands
  • incorporate a new dam to increase properties drought resilience
  • design mass planting along the boundary to buffer a neighbouring eucalypt plantation
  • connect new planting areas to facilitate habitat corridors to hydroline corridor
  • integrate aesthetic overview across property – entrance driveway, deciduous tree plantings (increases fertility + stabilises slope), iconic tree plantings
