The client requested a Property Plan for his 40 hectare cattle property that provided him with a strategy that allowed him to set long term goals. Management objectives included:
- undertake landscape/hydroline remediation works that facilitated the implementation of NSF slope and stream management principals
- fence hydrolines and springs from cattle
- locate proposed new residence
- review existing fences
- incorporate cattle rotation practices into new fencing design
- rejuvenate existing wetlands
- incorporate a new dam to increase properties drought resilience
- design mass planting along the boundary to buffer a neighbouring eucalypt plantation
- connect new planting areas to facilitate habitat corridors to hydroline corridor
- integrate aesthetic overview across property – entrance driveway, deciduous tree plantings (increases fertility + stabilises slope), iconic tree plantings
